The Swan Inn, a 17th Century Cotswold stone pub, resides in the historic village of Islip, Oxfordshire the birth place of Edward the Confessor. The pub which is steeped in history, saw a huge refurbishment during 2022 and has been lovingly restored and brought back to life.
Our head chef, Peter Wilton previously worked at the Oxford kitchen which was awarded a Michelin star in 2018. He has trained and worked with some of the best chefs in the UK, cooking nostalgic British dishes with a contemporary twist and influences from abroad. With the baton firmly in hand, Peter aims to focus on re-launching and evolving the Swan inn with a new menu, showcasing his passion for seasonal & flavour driven dishes!
